Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: MercyOne is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Hospitalist team serving patients at our Cedar Falls and Waterloo campuses. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional inpatient care. Position Highlights Schedule: Flexible shifts with a mix of days/nights; no outpatient responsibilities. Team Environment: Work alongside experienced hospitalists and a multidisciplinary care team. Patient Census: Manage acute care patients in a supportive setting with specialists available for consults. Technology: Utilize EPIC EMR for streamlined documentation and communication. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including admissions, rounding, and discharge planning. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services to ensure quality outcomes. Participate in care coordination and transitions of care. Qualifications Licensed NP or PA in Iowa (or eligible). Experience in acute care or hospital medicine preferred. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a team-based model.
