Role: A Travel Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical conditions.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans, assess and treat patients, perform diagnostic tests, manage respiratory equipment, monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
Qualifications: One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, RRT credential from NBRC, valid state license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include ACLS or PALS.
Skills & Abilities: Critical thinking, strong communication, physical ability to move equipment and assist patients, proficiency in reading and following instructions, and the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
