Under supervision, you'll conduct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for clients with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, focusing on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and evidence-based practices.
Your key duties include providing individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy, facilitating DBT skills training in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, and developing collaborative treatment plans.
You will also deliver psychoeducation, participate in clinical team meetings, and maintain accurate documentation. Emphasizing trauma-informed and person-centered care, you'll work towards clients' recovery goals.
Qualifications include a Master's degree in a behavioral health field, eligibility for a training license, practicum experience, and a willingness to complete DBT-specific training. Strong communication, documentation, and relationship skills are essential, along with a valid driver’s license.
