- Graduate of an accredited sonography program or ARDMS certification
- ARDMS (OB), BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Knowledge of diagnostic sonography principles, human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with computer applications and medical information systems
- Ability to work under supervision, follow procedures, and ensure patient privacy
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with healthcare teams
- Perform routine obstetric sonographic exams with proficiency
- Differentiate normal and abnormal structures
- Support invasive procedures and assist with report prep
- Work within established policies to meet departmental goals
