Sonographer - Maternal Fetal Medicine

The role involves performing diagnostic sonography procedures for Obstetric and Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) to assess fetal organs, female reproductive organs, and hemodynamics, adhering to standards and organizational policies. Responsibilities include conducting various trimester anatomy surveys, nuchal translucency, fetal echocardiograms, Doppler evaluations, biophysical profiles, and assisting with invasive procedures like amniocentesis, along with preparing reports.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program or ARDMS certification
• ARDMS (OB), BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Knowledge of diagnostic sonography principles, human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with computer applications and medical information systems
• Ability to work under supervision, follow procedures, and ensure patient privacy
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with healthcare teams
