Responsibilities
- Conducts PT evaluations, re-evaluations, sets goals, and makes discharge recommendations.
- Delivers direct treatments, educates patients and families, and progresses therapy plans.
- Utilizes appropriate documentation and collaborates with healthcare team members.
- Supervises PTAs and technicians, manages schedules, and participates in program development.
- Engages in continuing education, offers staff or community in-services, and adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
- Current D.C. license or eligibility for licensure, and BLS certification.
