Role: Travel CT Tech responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients, following safety protocols, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.
Responsibilities: Operate CT equipment, prepare patients, set technical parameters, maintain equipment, document procedures, and adhere to safety standards. Provide compassionate patient care and work effectively with healthcare teams. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum one year recent CT experience, valid radiology license, current BLS certification, and preferred ARRT certification. Essential skills include critical thinking, interpersonal communication, PC proficiency, physical ability to handle equipment, and ability to work under pressure. Visual acuity and effective communication are required.
Key Duties: Produce cross-sectional images, ensure image quality, follow safety protocols, assist with procedures, and collaborate with medical staff. Adapt to different equipment and protocols, and perform other assigned tasks within scope.
