We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver person-centered care aimed at enhancing residents' independence, safety, and quality of life through meaningful activities and functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Evaluating patients' physical condition and its impact on daily activities and well-being
- Assessing test results and developing personalized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques
- Recommending home modifications and adaptive equipment to promote safety and independence
- Monitoring patient progress, adjusting interventions collaboratively, and ensuring adherence to the care plan
- Providing clinical education and support to patients, families, and caregivers
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality care
- Completing thorough documentation in compliance with policies and regulations
- Adhering to all applicable rules and participating in required meetings
- Valid and active Texas Occupational Therapy license
- Good standing with licensing boards and regulatory agencies
- Preferred experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings
- Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience with electronic documentation systems is a plus
