MRI Technologist

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in accordance with standards, policies, and organizational values.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient history, coordinate scheduling, and educate patients about procedures to ensure cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media or medications within scope, monitor patient condition, and respond to changes.
• Set up equipment, select imaging parameters, perform safety and quality control procedures, troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Position patients, perform imaging scans, analyze results, address quality issues, and report findings.
• Utilize critical thinking and judgment to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Technologist (RT) and MRI-eligible, with certification achieved within 12 months.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
