Role: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) providing specialized nursing care in a home health and hospice setting.
Responsibilities: Perform clinical procedures such as sterile dressings, injections, phlebotomy, and medication administration under RN or MD supervision. Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans, coordinate treatments, and provide patient education. Maintain supply levels, ensure a clean environment, and participate in on-call duties as needed.
Qualifications: LVN licensure in the practice state and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, arrhythmia certification, and a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Skills & Qualities: Strong organizational skills, attention to asepsis, ability to perform clinical procedures, and effective communication for patient teaching. Must adhere to safety protocols and organizational policies.
Additional Requirements: All associates must complete mandatory vaccinations and comply with organizational safety policies. The role may require on-call duties based on operational needs.
