We’re hiring a Founding Account Manager who wants real ownership in a fast-moving startup environment. You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of high-value customers, acting as their primary point of contact across onboarding, day-to-day operations, and expansion. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who thrives on autonomy, relationship-building, and working directly with founders and operators.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of startup customers end-to-end
- Build strong relationships with founders, operators, and finance teams
- Own onboarding and ensure a smooth transition into active account management
- Drive product adoption (cards, accounts, reporting)
- Identify and execute on expansion opportunities (entities, products, spend)
- Act as the main point of contact for customer needs, issues, and strategic questions
- Partner cross-functionally with product, compliance, and operations to resolve complex cases
- Maintain clear account plans and track performance across your book of business
- Help build and refine internal playbooks as an early member of the team
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Account Management or a similar client-facing role
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or adjacent industries
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand customer business models
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Compensation
The expected OTE for this role is $130,000 – $140,000, including base and commission. Base salary varies based on experience, skills, market factors and internal pay parity. Total compensation may also include equity and additional benefits depending on the position offered and location.
This is a high-autonomy role where you’ll work directly with innovative, early-stage startups, gaining exposure to complex business models and global operations. Because of the ownership and pace, you’ll develop quickly, building skills across relationship management, commercial thinking, and cross-functional execution in a foundational role.
