- Supervision of nursing care and departmental activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (DNV, DHS, OSHA, AAMI, AORN).
- Development of process improvement initiatives to enhance patient throughput and staff workflows.
- Fostering relationships with physicians and ensuring departmental survey readiness.
- Managing personnel performance, credentialing, and ongoing staff development.
- Monitoring clinical quality metrics, patient and staff satisfaction scores, and compliance with policies.
- Overseeing departmental budgets, resource allocation, and capital needs.
- Ensuring departmental policies align with accreditation and safety standards.
- Supporting clinical departments with equipment and instrumentation safety.
- Maintaining effective communication, conflict resolution, and team engagement.
- Ensuring safe patient care, staff safety, and operational efficiency in a 24/7 environment.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois, with BLS certification and national nursing certification within 3 years.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; 3 years perioperative nursing experience (preferred) and leadership experience (preferred).
- Strong clinical judgment, technical skills, and knowledge of regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis, and departmental reporting.
- Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
