Role: Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Develop personalized rehabilitation plans, implement therapy techniques, operate specialized equipment, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention, maintain safety and infection control standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. May assist in discharge planning and perform additional duties within scope of practice.
Qualifications & Skills: Valid state license and BLS certification required; Doctorate degree preferred. Must have strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Physical abilities include moving equipment and assisting patients. Ability to work effectively under pressure, follow instructions, and communicate clearly. Sensory acuity and technical motor skills are essential.
