Menehune Water Company has been proudly serving Hawaii since 1985, delivering high-quality water and exceptional customer service to homes and businesses across the islands. We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Certified Machine Operator / Forklift Operator to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Certified Machine Operator / Forklift Operator is responsible for operating production machinery and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner. This role supports daily warehouse and production operations, ensuring products are handled properly and workflows run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery according to company standards
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials
- Move water bottles, pallets, and inventory throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating machinery preferred
- In-house forklift certificate training provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic communication and teamwork skills
