Monday-Friday; 7am-4pm; Saturdays 7am-12pm.

Pay: $85k-95k; BOE

Job Overview:

As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you will serve as the onsite leader responsible for overseeing the installation of commercial landscaping, amenity spaces, hardscapes, pavers on pedestals, and other Division 32 scopes. You will work closely with project managers, office staff, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily onsite construction activities and coordinate field operations.
• Verify project sites are ready for installation and communicate with client representatives regarding site readiness.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to maintain efficient workflow and communication.
• Supervise subcontractors and field personnel to ensure quality workmanship and schedule compliance.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards through regular site inspections and safety meetings.
• Track daily production and labor performance to ensure project goals are met.
• Complete and submit Daily Logs documenting manpower, work performed, equipment used, weather conditions, and project issues.
• Prepare and maintain a rolling Three-Week Look Ahead schedule for upcoming project activities.
• Identify field conflicts, plan discrepancies, and scope issues and submit RFIs as needed.
• Verify all materials delivered onsite match approved submittals, purchase orders, and project specifications.
• Ensure all project documentation and paperwork are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Need:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Landscaper, Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, or Superintendent on commercial construction or landscape projects.
• Knowledge of commercial landscaping, hardscapes, green infrastructure, erosion control, and site construction operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple crews.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound field decisions and work independently.
• Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, email, and other construction management software.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Background check required.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to walk active construction sites for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven terrain.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment and traveling to multiple job sites as required.
