What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Help Desk Support Specialist position at Mehta Medical Group PLLC?
We are seeking a customer-focused, technically skilled Tier 1 Desktop Support Technician to be
the first point of contact for our end users. You will help maintain business continuity by
resolving hardware, software, and network issues for both onsite and remote users in a timely,
professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide front-line support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and basic
networking issues
- Respond to helpdesk tickets via phone, email, or in person and document all interactions
in the IT ticketing system
- Troubleshoot Windows and macOS systems, including login issues, application errors,
and performance concerns
- Support Google Workspace suite and basic account management
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding procedures: account setup, computer imaging,
access rights, etc.
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory and documentation
- Follow established procedures for patching, security updates, and compliance standards
- Contribute to knowledge base documentation and internal process improvements
Requirements
- 1 years of experience in a desktop support or technical support role
- Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., DWService, AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP,
etc.)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
- Experience with Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience supporting medical or HIPAA-compliant environments
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like Freshservice, Spiceworks, or Zendesk
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or ITIL Foundations
Work Environment
- Fast-paced clinical environment
- Must be flexible with schedule changes, occasional extended hours, or rotating to different clinic sites.
