Senior Scientist, Preclinical Bioanalysis

This is an onsite position in the East Bay.

80% lab work expected.

Provides bioanalytical support for biologics programs, with a focus on LC-MS–based assays for antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and related modalities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute LC-MS bioanalytical assays for biologics in rodent and NHP matrices
• Analyze PK samples and support studies from discovery through lead selection
• Manage and interpret PK studies (in-house and CRO)
• Perform data analysis and clearly communicate findings to cross-functional teams
• Collaborate across functions to support program advancement
• Contribute to translational biology efforts and ensure compliance with lab and safety standards
• Oversee work conducted by CROs or external partners

Qualifications:

• MS (7 years) or PhD (2 years) in analytical chemistry, biology, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with LC-MS bioanalysis for biologics
• Solid understanding of PK/PD and preclinical pharmacology (oncology preferred)
• Experience with assay development; ligand-binding assays and metabolite ID a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with standard scientific software (e.g., GraphPad, Excel)

• Lab-based role with some exposure to hazardous materials
• Up to 10% travel
