Position Summary
Meest America Inc., an international logistics and parcel-delivery company, is hiring Warehouse Loaders / Unloaders: Package Handlers for our Piscataway, NJ facility. This is a physically active warehouse position focused primarily on loading and unloading parcels, sorting and moving packages, and supporting inbound and outbound shipping operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload parcels, boxes, trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Sort, scan, move, and stage packages for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages throughout the shift.
- Assist with palletizing, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations.
- Use pallet jacks, scanners, and another warehouse equipment as required.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume logistics operation, especially during peak seasons.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to regularly handle packages weighing approximately 10–60 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, squat, reach, push, and pull.
- Comfortable performing repetitive and physically demanding loading/unloading work throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous loading/unloading, package handling, freight, logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in logistics companies, parcel facilities, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, freight operations, or high-volume warehouses is highly desirable.
- Previous truck/trailer loading and unloading experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with pallet jacks, RF scanners, forklifts, palletizing, shipping, or receiving is preferred.
- Reliable daily transportation to Piscataway, NJ is required.
