Position Summary
Meest America Inc., an international logistics and parcel-delivery company, is seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Loader / Unloader: Package Handler to join our Piscataway, NJ warehouse team.
This is a physically active, hands-on warehouse position focused primarily on loading and unloading packages, parcel handling, sorting, scanning, moving shipments, and supporting inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
Candidates with prior experience in logistics, package handling, freight, shipping and receiving, fulfillment centers, distribution centers, or high-volume warehouse environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload parcels, boxes, trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Sort, scan, move, and stage packages for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages throughout the shift.
- Assist with palletizing, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations.
- Move and organize packages throughout the warehouse efficiently.
- Use pallet jacks, RF scanners, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment, as required.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume logistics and parcel-handling environment, especially during peak seasons.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to regularly handle packages weighing approximately 10–60 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull.
- Comfortable performing repetitive and physically demanding loading and unloading work throughout the workday.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse loading/unloading, package handling, freight, logistics, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in logistics companies, parcel facilities, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, freight operations, or high-volume warehouses highly desirable.
- Previous truck, trailer, or container loading and unloading experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with pallet jacks, RF scanners, forklifts, palletizing, sorting, shipping, or receiving preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and comfortable working as part of a warehouse team.
- Reliable daily transportation to our Piscataway, NJ facility is required.
Candidates with direct truck/trailer loading and unloading, package-handling, freight, or logistics warehouse experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
