In this role, you will…
Assist in the preparation of financial records in accordance with the applicable accounting guidance and/or standards.
Create reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
Perform balance sheet and profit and loss (P&L) reconciliations.
Develop and use automated tools to update, analyze, and report consolidated financial results.
Cultivate contacts and interact with finance personnel and others outside of finance.
Keep job knowledge current by completing educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
We are looking for candidates with…
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
Desired 1-3 years of experience.
CPA or progression towards CPA (preferred but not required).
Problem solving and organizational skills.
Motivation, adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work in both an independent setting but also a collaborative environment.
Computer experience utilizing Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
