Responsibilities:
- Process and manage electronic claims submissions and follow-up on outstanding claims.
- Review and analyze claim data for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve claim discrepancies and rejections.
- Utilize EDI software to track claims and maintain detailed records.
- Communicate with payers to ensure timely payment and resolution of claims issues.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to EDI claims.
- Provide training and support to staff on EDI processes and procedures.
- Generate reports on claims performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in EDI claims processing within the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical billing practices.
- Proficient in EDI software and claims management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma required; associate's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
