We are seeking a highly organized and clinical Clinical Coordinator (RN) to oversee and facilitate the day-to-day functions of our Behavioral Health office. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical support staff activities to enhance patient flow, ensuring optimal staff coverage during office hours, and delivering exceptional nursing care.
This position beautifully blends leadership and hands-on practice, as you will also function as an Office Nurse—triaging patient calls, managing prescription refills, and directly coordinating patient care within an autonomous, supportive environment.
Compensation & Shift Details
- Salary Range: $34.14 – $51.21 / hour (Dependent on education and experience)
- Candidate Note: We are looking for immediate local candidates or serious inquiries from individuals with finalized plans to relocate to the area.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Supervision: Coordinate the daily activities of the clinical support staff to maximize department efficiency, ensure proper scheduling coverage, and optimize patient flow.
- Direct Patient Care: Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate professional nursing interventions independently within accepted standards of practice.
- Office Triage & Coordination: Function as a primary office nurse by effectively triaging patient phone calls, managing complex prescription refills, and organizing interdisciplinary care.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and clinical treatments in strict adherence to facility policies and safety protocols.
- Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate, highly detailed electronic medical records regarding patient conditions, progress, and behavioral health treatments.
- Education & Advocacy: Educate patients and families on disease management and wellness strategies while acting as a compassionate advocate for patient rights and ethical care.
Candidate Requirements & QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) [Required]; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) [Highly Preferred].
- Clinical Setting Background: At least 2 years of experience working in a medical office setting [Required].
- Specialized Experience: Prior experience in Pediatrics [Highly Preferred].
- Leadership Background: Direct medical office experience that includes past clinical staff supervision or charge nurse duties [Highly Preferred].
- Core Skills: Strong working knowledge of medical terminology, specialized equipment, and the maintenance of strictly confidential medical information.
Licensure & Certifications
- State Licensure: Valid, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing or an active multi-state Compact License [Required].
- Life Support: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required].
