Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in mechanical or electrical repair, preferably with dock equipment or overhead doors.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Little Rock Branch.
- Capability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in electrical or mechanical trades.
- Experience working in a wholesale trade or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in dock equipment.
- Basic welding or fabrication skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to dock and door operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on dock levelers, seals, shelters, and overhead doors to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and execute timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics personnel to schedule maintenance activities that align with operational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory to support asset management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while performing all duties.
