About the Role
A thriving, insurance-based plastic and reconstructive surgery practice in Beverly Hills is seeking a versatile, dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join an established clinical team. Working directly alongside the lead surgeon and senior lead RN, you will be involved in the full spectrum of patient care rather than restricted to a single department. This role offers a highly collaborative, outpatient environment with predictable, daytime hours and the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Operative Care: Conduct pre-op consultations, thoroughly review medical histories, deliver patient education, and prepare individuals for clinical and surgical procedures.
- Intra-Operative Assistance: Directly assist the surgeon during outpatient surgical procedures while maintaining strict sterile field standards and safety protocols.
- Post-Operative Care: Manage recovery room care, administer post-op follow-ups, deliver clear discharge instructions, and execute ongoing patient care plans.
- Patient Ownership: Coordinate continuum-of-care operations to ensure a seamless, high-touch experience for every patient from initial consultation to final recovery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Prior experience in plastic surgery, OR, Pre/Post OP or outpatient procedures is required. Comprehensive, hands-on surgical training will be provided by the lead RN and surgeon.
- Highly adaptable, team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to master multiple clinical functions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills focused on patient comfort and advocacy.
Why Join This Team?
- End-to-End Clinical Experience: Gain complete exposure across Pre-Op, Intra-Op, and Post-Op care rather than being siloed into one department.
- Paid OR Training: Ideal opportunity for nurses looking to transition into surgical and operating room care with dedicated, expert mentorship.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a stable, Monday through Friday daytime schedule without hospital shift work, weekends, or late-night call rotations.
- Continuity of Care: Experience higher job satisfaction by building ongoing rapport with patients in a boutique, high-retention clinical setting.
