Schedule: Overnight (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 1 weekday
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Overnight Maintenance & Safety Associate to support our behavioral health facility during overnight hours. This position plays a key role in maintaining a secure, clean, and fully operational environment for clients receiving substance abuse and wellness services.
If you have hands-on maintenance experience and are either F-07 certified or willing to obtain the certification, this is a great opportunity to work in a meaningful, mission-driven setting.
What You'll Do
Ensure the safety and security of the facility overnight
Conduct routine building rounds and safety checks
Serve as the on-site Fire Guard (F-07) or obtain certification as required
Monitor fire safety systems and ensure compliance with protocols
Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs, including light electrical work
Address and troubleshoot facility issues as they arise
Keep exits, hallways, and common areas clear and hazard-free
Respond to overnight maintenance or safety concerns
Maintain accurate logs of rounds, incidents, and repairs
Support a clean, organized, and safe environment for clients and staff
What We're Looking For
F-07 Certificate of Fitness (preferred) OR willingness to obtain upon hire
Experience in maintenance, facilities, or handyman work
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and general repairs
Ability to work independently and handle overnight responsibilities
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a behavioral health setting
Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs
Preferred Experience
Background in healthcare, residential treatment, or behavioral health settings
Familiarity with emergency procedures and building safety protocols
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
