This is a field sales role. The remaining time is spent on virtual faculty meetings, strategic planning, and conference attendance. Overnight travel is approximately 40%. What the Role Covers
- Conducting roughly four campus visits per week during the academic year, consulting with 10-15 faculty per campus day

- Engaging instructors through cold calls and scheduled appointments
- Learning major new titles and revised editions each year, along with competing texts
- Increasing revenue and adoption rates within the defined sales territory
- Collaborating with colleagues on strategic plans for priority sales opportunities
- Setting tracking and revenue goals with guidance from sales management
- Documenting activities and tracking progress using the company's Salesforce-based CRM
- Providing customer support to instructors assigning or evaluating course materials
- Attending national and regional conferences
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- Valid driver's license
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to travel by car and airplane, with approximately 40% overnight travel
- Residence within or near the Oklahoma/Arkansas territory (relocation can be negotiated)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Some successful experience or internship history in sales, marketing, editing, teaching, or customer-facing roles is ideal
