• Position: ER/ED RN
• Location: Fremont, NE
• Shift: Nights 3x12-Hour
• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: ASAP

Pay Breakdown:

• Weekly Gross: $2,704
• W2: $40.5/hr.
• Stipend: $1,246 Weekly

Requirements:

• 2 Years of ER/ED RN Experience - Required
• NE or Compact RN License - Required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC - Required

ER RN – Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. The ER RN will assess patients, prioritize care based on acuity, administer treatments and medications, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on acuity.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency treatments.
• Initiate and assist with emergency procedures and interventions.
• Manage patients with trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and other acute conditions.
• Obtain and monitor IV access, draw blood, and collect specimens as ordered.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient status.
• Ensure safe patient transitions, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
