Pay rate: $57/hr - $65/hr

Position Summary: MedCadre is seeking a compassionate and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will help patients improve their ability to perform daily living activities, regain independence, and enhance their overall quality of life through individualized therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to determine their rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, coordination, strength, and daily living skills.
- Assist patients in developing or regaining independence in activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and eating.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and techniques to improve patient safety and functional independence.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, safety precautions, and home programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and progress reports.
- Follow facility policies, professional standards, and applicable safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Previous clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting preferred or as required by the facility.
- Strong patient assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and evaluate patient progress.
- Current CPR/BLS certification if required by the facility.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
