Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3x12) or Nights- 7PM-7AM
Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality emergency care for adult and pediatric patients in a busy community Emergency Department and Stroke Center.
Main Requirements
- Active RN VA License
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association only)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care using triage protocols.
- Provide emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergency situations.
- Assist with trauma, stroke, respiratory, and critical care patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions.
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
