About Us
We are an established mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC contracting company based in South Jersey. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, part-time Bookkeeper to manage our daily financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).
- Handle day-to-day data entry, bank reconciliations, and credit card matching.
- Process and track trade-specific billing, including pending invoices and reminders.
- Assist with basic payroll tracking for field technicians.
- Maintain organized, accurate financial records for CPA year-end review.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Prior bookkeeping experience is a major plus, particularly within the construction or mechanical trades, but we are fully willing to train the right candidate.
- Software: Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions (Contractor Edition) is a plus, as this is the system we run daily.
- Traits: Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
