Our direct client based in NYC is planning an online banking conversion to the Q2 Digital Banking Platform and is seeking an User Experience (UX) Researcher to focus on practical, delivery-oriented research, helping teams understand user expectations, identify friction introduced by platform change, and reduce conversion-related risk.

- Plan and conduct qualitative research (interviews, usability testing, concept and flow validation)
- Evaluate converted journeys/workflows to identify usability and comprehension gaps
- Partner with UX, Marketing, product, and technology teams to shape research priorities
- Synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Create research artifacts (readouts, journey insights, opportunity areas)
- Help teams understand user sentiment, trust, and behavioral impacts of platform change
- Experience in UX or design research
- Strong qualitative research and facilitation skills
- Experience researching complex, high stakes, or transactional experiences
- Ability to work quickly and pragmatically in delivery driven environments
- Clear storytelling and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience researching third party or white labeled platforms
- Familiarity with the Q2 digital banking platform
- Financial services or enterprise research experience
- Service design or systems level research background
- Experience supporting migrations, conversions, or transformation program
Salary : $95 - $130
