We are looking for an experienced consultant to help transition and optimize our Bloomberg market data infrastructure. The role focuses on developing cost models and migration plans for both real-time and non-real-time data systems. The consultant will work within a firm with a complex data infrastructure involving SQL Server, Databricks, and various trading and risk systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a cost model and migration plan for transitioning from Bloomberg SAPI Premium to B-PIPE for real-time market data.
- Create a cost estimate and delivery recommendation for consolidating non-real-time data onto Bloomberg Data License.
Key Motivations
- Enable non-display use for real-time intraday market data.
- Scale data delivery architecture independently of terminal count.
- Produce accurate cost models for budgeting.
- Consolidate non-real-time data sourcing onto Data License.
Scope of Analysis
- Identify exchange agreements and fee schedules for real-time data.
- Classify non-display use and determine cost implications.
- Determine Bloomberg B-PIPE platform fees and delivery model recommendations.
- Assess migration risks and develop a phased migration plan.
- Analyze non-real-time data delivery mechanisms and coverage gaps.
