Attorney

Position Overview:

MDK, an innovative law firm, is seeking an attorney to represent clients in civil matters related to creditors' rights. In this role, you will draft legal documents, advise clients, and manage cases involving creditors' rights issues. Given the nature of the work, this role involves managing a significant caseload, with an emphasis on efficiently resolving urgent matters and troubleshooting complex issues. Attorneys in this position will focus on resolving cases quickly to meet client needs, ensuring that cases can progress smoothly after being escalated. The goal is always to achieve a favorable outcome for clients as promptly as possible while maintaining high standards of legal practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and litigate a high-volume caseload of default servicing matters. handling both routine and contested residential foreclosure cases with precision and skill.
• Draft, argue and strategize around motions necessary to drive favorable outcomes for our clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from start to finish.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to a team of skilled paralegals and legal assistants, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Engage directly with clients to provide an outstanding customer experience and building long-term, trusted relationships by providing industry-leading service.
• Embody and demonstrate MDK's values - respect, creativity, engagement, collaboration, and advancement - while working in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Requirements:

• Actively licensed in Florida.
• 4-6 years of experience in real estate, title, or related field.  
• Must have experience in litigation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to travel throughout Florida as needed.

Schedule & Benefits:

Our team works Monday through Friday, general business hours. After a successful orientation period, we offer a hybrid schedule, which allows our employees the flexibility to work from home and in the office. MDK provides a comprehensive benefit package, which includes:
