Job Title: General Manager – Home Health Care

Position Summary:
We are seeking a General Manager to lead operations at our Home Health Care agency. This role oversees clinical and administrative functions, ensures billing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and drives growth. The GM will manage P&L, revenue cycle, EMR systems (WellSky/Axxess), and Medicare/Medicaid regulations while building a high-performing team and ensuring long-term scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across clinical, administrative, and back-office teams.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and CMS regulations.
- Manage full P&L, budgets, cash flow, and vendor/payroll obligations.
- Lead billing/revenue cycle operations, reducing claim denials and optimizing collections.
- Utilize EMR systems to audit documentation and billing readiness.
- Develop performance dashboards (census, utilization, visits, financials).
- Supervise and train staff, establish KPIs, and drive accountability.
- Partner with leadership on growth, efficiency, and expansion strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Admin, Nursing, or related (MBA/MHA preferred).
- 5 years leadership experience in home health operations.
- Strong knowledge of home health billing, coding, OASIS, HHRG/HIPPS.
- Proficiency in EMR platforms (WellSky, Axxess, Homecare Homebase, etc.).
- Direct P&L and financial management experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
