About the Role:
We are seeking an Environmental Scientist (Air Specialist) to provide compliance support with a focus on air permitting and regulations. The role involves preparing permit applications, conducting emission inventories, ensuring compliance with federal/state requirements, and supporting audits, inspections, and reporting. Additional duties may include support in hazardous waste, water, and natural/cultural resource compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in environmental compliance (air programs preferred).
- Experience with air permit applications, emission inventories, and compliance reporting.
- Experience conducting inspections and audits.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Must be a local resident or willing to relocate to Crane, IN.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- (Future requirement: may need 40-hour HAZWOPER certification).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
