Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Networking Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about computer networks, network security, and IT infrastructure. You will assist in designing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise network environments while working alongside experienced network engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Assist in implementing network security policies and access controls.
- Perform network upgrades, software updates, and system maintenance.
- Monitor network availability and ensure optimal performance.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and technical issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve infrastructure-related problems.
- Support users with network and connectivity issues.
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Routing & Switching).
- Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, or other networking devices.
- Familiarity with network security fundamentals and firewalls.
- Understanding of Windows Server and Linux networking basics.
- Experience with network monitoring tools is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of networking or IT infrastructure experience.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network , or equivalent are a plus.
