Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Texas. This role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about product design, engineering analysis, and manufacturing. The Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products using CAD software.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models based on engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and production teams to optimize product designs.
- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design validation.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product improvements.
- Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical reports.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience in mechanical or product design.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or CATIA
- Basic knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings.
- Understanding of materials, machining, and fabrication techniques.
- es.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with FEA or simulation to ols.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
