The CNC Programmer develops CNC programs using**Mastercam**for 3- to

5-axis CNC machines, supporting the production of mid- to

high-complexity aerospace components. Responsibilities include fixture

design, drafting, cutter and tooling selection, toolpath creation, setup

documentation, CNC verification, and shop aid sketches.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam) for
  
  

aerospace components.

• Select cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various material types.
• Verify CNC code against engineering models using**VERICUT
  
  

Simulation**.

• Interpret job orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine
  
  

tooling, work holding, machine speeds, and feed rates.

• Create setup documentation and support shop floor needs with
  
  

accurate technical information.
