We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC machines to ensure efficient production processes while maintaining high-quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of CNC programming and the ability to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines according to specifications
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as necessary
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during production
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes
- Document programming changes and maintain accurate records of production activities
- Train and support operators on CNC programming and machine operation
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer
- Proficient in CNC programming languages and software
- Knowledge of Catia and Vericut is a plus
- Experience with Austin NC and 5-axis machining operations is preferred
- Familiarity with machining Titanium, PH Steel, 17-4 PH, 15-5 PH, and 13-8 Mo materials
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with aluminum alloys is an advantage
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
