Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe and Mill Mastercam Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machines using Mastercam software to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. This role will work closely with and report to CNC Lathe and Mill Leads to develop and refine programs, and will occasionally assist with machine operation and production tasks.Key Responsibilities:Create and modify CNC programs for lathes and mills using Mastercam.Collaborate with the CNC Lathe and Mill Lead on program development and optimization.Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate machining processes.Set up CNC machines, select appropriate tooling, and ensure proper work holding.Run CNC mills and lathes as needed for setup, part buy-off, and production support.Perform first-piece inspections and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools.Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues.Maintain accurate documentation of programs and setups.Assist in improving processes and meeting production deadlines.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.Proficiency in Mastercam programming for both lathe and mill operations.Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC controls.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.Knowledge of materials, cutting tools, and machining best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred Skills:Experience with multi-axis machining.Familiarity with CAD/CAM integration.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Benefits:Competitive hourly pay ($27–$30/hr).Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for overtime and career growth.Company DescriptionEstablished in 1953, Carlson Hydraulics, with its headquarters in Wichita, Kansas, has built a strong reputation as a dedicated manufacturer of welded hydraulic cylinders.
