MAX Aerostructures is seeking a full-time special process planner for
the creation and maintenance of special processing and heat treat plans
in support of all new and existing products manufactured at MAX.
Experience in aerospace special processing operations compliant with
NADCAP and most aerospace customer specifications with an extensive
knowledge of chemical processing including chem film, anodize (Boric),
NDT (PT & MT), priming and painting is required. Experience with heat
treating operations is a plus. The ability to read and interpret blue
prints and customer/industry specifications related to the products and
then effectively communicate the requirements in a standard format to
production, engineering and quality representatives will be necessary
for this job function.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Reading/interpreting blue prints, customer specifications and
testing procedures, NADCAP and industry standards.
Assisting in the estimating of new work and developing pricing and
plans to support.
Working with special processing operations, on site NDT level III,
quality and engineering groups to build an effective special process
plans for new products and to improve upon existing product
processes.
Create and maintain written and visual work instructions for each
special process step in a standard format that effectively
communicates all processing and testing requirements.
Supporting the quality group by overseeing in-process and final
inspection. Fielding questions and ensuring final product is
complaint prior to C of C completion.
Managing the paint inventory system as well as any additional
administration duties assigned.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in NADCAP approved special
processes is required.
