Planner

Galaxy Technologies is currently seeking a Planner to join our growing team! Our Planners create tool-build plans on basic tools and complete complex plans with the assistance of a Senior Planner. Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tooling Manufacturing

- Strong computer skills

- Familiar with material and outside processes

- Good analytical skills and ability to develop manufacturing plans

- Good communicator willing to work in a team environment

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.                              

1. Perform basic Global Shop Solutions functions
2. Review and understand customer requirements.
3. Review and analyze models in Catia V5. 
4. Understand bill of materials (BOM) and have a basic understanding of various materials and processes used in aerospace tooling.
5. Understand basic manufacturing techniques and processes and apply them to a particular tool to develop a build plan from start to finish.
6. Create routers and general data entry in the Global Shop based on customer specifications and Galaxy manufacturing processes.

Basic knowledge on operating computer software, including Microsoft Office products

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner to develop and maintain strong working relationships with coworkers and management.

Ability to sufficiently communicate with coworkers and management using good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.
