MAX Aerostructures is currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team!
Essential duties include:
- Create and manage technical aspects of the machining program including blueprint and CATIA model reading, interpreting specifications following customer requirements
- Create and manage technical aspects of the machining program including blueprint and CATIA model reading, interpreting specifications following customer requirements
- Develop detailed instructions from technical sources
- Document data control
- Assist machining business unit on the methods engineering tasks
- Assist with programming and production to develop efficient and strong machining process
- Assist with customer documentation incoming and flow down to supplier
- Develop detailed instructions from technical sources
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- 3 years of methods engineering background or experience in aerospace required
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Use of ERP System: Syteline experience a plus
- Use of CATIA V5 &/or Enovia preferred
- Ability to understand aviation drawings, models, and specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
