What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Assistant position at MAX AEROSTRUCTURES LLC?
MAX Aerostructures is currently hiring a Warehouse Assistant for our 1st shift. Hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. We offer a comprehensive benefit package which includes free healthcare.
The essential duties include:
- Load and unload material from delivery trucks
- Measure materials upon arrival to the warehouse in raw, uncut form and check the gauge of materials using a micrometer.
- Pull and stage material according to job list
- Perform receiving inspection and unpack and sort received product and accompanying documents.
- Operate material handling equipment, including stationary lift, forklift and pallet lifts.
- Maintain a neat and organized work and dock area.
- Follow safety regulations, including team lifting and use of mechanical lifts.\\
- Other duties and tasks as requested or assigned.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to learn and use various office equipment and software
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member
