Quality Assurance Technician

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will serve as a critical gatekeeper for product excellence by verifying that all components meet rigorous engineering standards. You will leverage precision measurement tools and microscopic analysis to ensure that every finished part aligns perfectly with technical blueprints and customer specifications.

• Execute comprehensive dimensional and cosmetic inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gages, and indicators.
• Conduct detailed microscopic examinations to identify defects and perform necessary deburring or grinding refinements.
• Validate production output against established quality benchmarks to authorize final shipment.
• Identify and isolate nonconforming materials to prevent quality escapes.
• Maintain meticulous inspection logs and documentation to ensure full traceability.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality discrepancies and drive process improvements.
• Prepare and package finished goods according to specific client delivery requirements.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to operate precision measurement instrumentation with high accuracy.
• Corrected vision of at least 20/25 in one eye and no color blindness.
• Capacity to perform detailed work under a microscope for extended durations.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and legible record-keeping skills.
