Quality Assurance Technician

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our production output by ensuring all components meet rigorous industry standards. You will utilize precision instrumentation and technical documentation to verify product quality, directly contributing to our commitment to excellence and operational efficiency.

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure adherence to strict quality specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Document all inspection findings, including non-conformance reports, to maintain accurate quality records and traceability.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve discrepancies and support the implementation of effective corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and 5S methodologies.
• Manage certification documentation and maintain organized sample collections to streamline receiving and final inspection workflows.
• Review First Article Inspections (FAI) and ensure compliance with complex customer requirements.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and non-conformances.
• Ability to operate and maintain precision inspection equipment.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Experience with aerospace or high-precision manufacturing quality standards.
• Familiarity with quality documentation software and data management systems.
• Strong communication skills for inter-departmental collaboration and customer correspondence.
• Previous experience in training or mentoring team members on inspection protocols.
