Responsibilities
- Diagnose malfunctions in surgical devices using established testing methods, and repair or replace defective components.
- Disassemble and reassemble devices, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Identify potential risks and escalate issues promptly to maintain efficient workflow.
- Follow Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and support company ISO goals and objectives.
- Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by participating in workplace organization audits and safety observations.
- Ensure adherence to all company safety, health policies, and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
- Refurbish medical devices to meet quality and performance standards.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a related field, or 1 year of experience at a similar organization.
- Demonstrated experience in hands-on repair, assembly, or product testing.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and maneuver equipment carts.
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional schedule adjustments based on business needs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with soldering, brazing, or other precision mechanical applications.
- Vocational / Technical Degree.
- Related certifications in technical training.
