Material Handler Forklift

A fast-paced manufacturing facility in East Butler is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator for the first shift. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. This role offers 48 hours of work each week, including 8 hours of overtime compensated at time and a half. The starting pay is $17.00 per hour, and this is a temp-to-hire role with a growing, stable organization.

We are looking for dependable, diligent individuals who can successfully complete a background check and drug screening. Please note that steel-toed boots are mandatory.

• Handle the loading, packing, and unloading of items from the production line.
• Ensure products are organized onto pallets according to specific packing guidelines.
• Operate a forklift securely to help organize and stage inventory.
• Support the team by following quality protocols to maintain product integrity.
• Collaborate with colleagues throughout the day to help the team achieve production targets.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by performing regular cleaning and organization.
• Keep all assigned equipment clean and in good working order.
• Track and report essential data, including finished product totals, scrap numbers, and quality check weights.

• Capable of lifting up to 40lbs.
• Able to remain standing, bending, and lifting throughout your entire shift.
• Proven experience operating a forklift.
• Previous background in a warehouse or production setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Must be able to clear a background screening.
