Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling components, and ensuring product quality. Your expertise in using precision measuring instruments and maintaining equipment will be crucial to our success.

• Operate power presses and manual kick presses to fabricate parts, ensuring accurate dimensions and adherence to specifications.
• Assemble components using resistance welders, soldering techniques, and torch/induction brazing methods.
• Conduct thorough inspections of parts under a microscope to identify any defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Utilize wire mesh shear tables and other shop equipment to cut and form wire mesh according to project requirements.
• Interpret blueprints and production documentation to understand project specifications and assembly instructions.
• Use computer systems to accurately scan jobs, track workflow, and access digital job details for efficient production management.
• Perform essential tool and die maintenance using lathes, CNC machines, grinders, and drill presses to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Employ various gauges, including micrometers, calipers, and indicators, to measure production parts and verify compliance with quality standards.

Required Skills

• High school diploma/GED or ability to pass a basic math test.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Preferred Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Experience with GD&T, AS9100, ISO 9001, and quality inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with CNC tooling, microscope proficiency, and tool/die/mold repair.
• Experience with machine setups for production runs and maintenance and repair skills.
