About the Role
As a Manufacturing Systems Engineer, you will drive operational excellence by optimizing production workflows and enhancing equipment reliability. You will play a pivotal role in scaling manufacturing capabilities, reducing waste, and implementing innovative technical solutions that directly impact our bottom-line efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost OEE, minimize downtime, and streamline changeover procedures.
- Design, install, and maintain advanced manufacturing systems, specifically focusing on extrusion and converting technologies.
- Develop and manage technical documentation including PFMEA, process flows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Execute root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve complex production bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to provide technical guidance and support long-term equipment reliability strategies.
- Engineer error-proofing methodologies to prevent quality non-conformances and ensure consistent output.
- Manage the lifecycle of engineering changes, from initial cost estimation to final implementation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Proven proficiency with PLCs, automation, and high-speed manufacturing machinery.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in data-driven problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Advanced technical literacy in MS Office and specialized engineering software tools.
Preferred Skills
- 5 years of hands-on experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional process improvement projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate complex business challenges and ambiguity.
