We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Professional to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment and facilities. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to proactively maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions. Your proficiency in using diagnostic tools and precision instruments will be essential to your success.
Responsibilities- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions, ensuring equipment operates efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing solutions to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Complete detailed maintenance reports, documenting all work performed and any issues encountered.
- Troubleshoot and repair a wide array of equipment including motors, conveyors, pumps, and other mechanical devices.
- Assist in major electrical repairs, including work on 480V 3-phase motor repairs/installation, motor starter circuit repairs, VFD drives, and photo-optic sensing devices.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical prints and technical data.
- Ability to perform basic computer tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with industrial robot programming.
- Welding and machining skills for minor repairs.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
